How CUBE OneCare manages configuration changes, processing pipelines, and system health in production.
All post-deployment configuration changes are managed through database-backed feature flags with full audit history. Every change records who made it, when, and why. Flag changes are reversible and the complete change chain is always available for review.
Change management follows documented procedures. Flag toggles require a stated reason and are logged to operational event stores.
Long-running operations such as evidence exports and questionnaire generation are processed through a managed job queue with retry semantics and dead-letter handling. Failed jobs are retained for administrative review.
Job processing uses established queue patterns. Retry limits and dead-letter thresholds are configurable per operation type.
Health check endpoints monitor database and cache connectivity. Operational metrics track export volumes, verification outcomes, access control decisions, and job queue status. Configurable alert rules evaluate metrics and surface warnings when thresholds are exceeded.
Observability data is derived from operational audit tables. No separate metrics infrastructure is required.
Database backups follow a documented schedule with automated rotation. Recovery procedures are maintained in operational runbooks. Backup retention respects active legal holds.
Backup frequency and retention periods are documented in the retention schedule.
